Friends of the Library
FRIENDS OF DOUGLAS LIBRARY
The Friends of Douglas Library are book lovers, information seekers, readers, listeners, and music and movie buffs. We treasure ideas and value the public library as a vital community resource. Through used book sales held four times a year, our ongoing Friends boutique in the library, and a variety of other fund raising events, we provide materials, services and equipment for the library including:
· New books, audio books, DVDs and magazines
· Museum passes
· Special equipment and computers
· Summer reading programs for children
· Adult programs
· Children’s special events
The Friends are a major non-profit volunteer support group for the Douglas Library. We are autonomous from the Douglas Library Association, the Board of Trustees, and the Town of Hebron.

The Friends will meet at 7:00pm on the following dates in 2012 at the Douglas Library: January 23, March 19, May 21, September 17, and November 26.
